I was thinking I would get out of bed at around 8 am. Go to the garden to soak up the sunshine and water the plants. (I've been trying to wake up earlier to water the plants because I heard it's better watering in the morning than watering in the afternoon when we get home). Then we would walk to the Farmer's Market and get the week's grocery. Then we would go to a nursery to pick up a slicer tomato plant. Then we would plant them. Then I would come home and do a major house cleaning. I can't remember the last time I vacuumed and that scares me.
Well, let's just say my Sunday did not go that way at all. I woke up at 10 am and I think it was pretty much downhill from there. Don't know why I was so tired but I couldn't bring myself to get out of bed. And I was in such a bad mood, too. I went downstairs to check out the garden and noticed that there were either droppings or sap splattered all over the white bench cushion. Yup. Not a great way to start a day. I then started looking for the Dr. Bronner's soap I had bought. I knew I put it in the kitchen somewhere but just could not find it. I finally found it in the garage and I felt so upset at David because I asked him if he knew where it was and he said he didn't. I feel terrible now for being upset. Putting something in the garage and forgetting about it is not a heinous crime. *sigh. I blame PMS.
As if to cancel all the unnecessary negativity of the morning, David told me to go outside to look at something. I was bracing myself for something terrible, like the birds pooped on all the cushions this time around, but he led me to witness this.
And of course the film featured mouthwatering sushi after sushi. Which prompted us to go Sushi Tomi for dinner. Sushi Tomi is my favorite sushi place and it's conveniently located in Mountain View!
