So yesterday morning when I finally woke up, David hurried over saying that he has a "good surprise" to show me. I got up as quickly as I could and he led me to witness these.
So a week ago, I had mentioned that we planted some cilantro and Thai basil seeds. Frankly, I did not expect anything to happen with them. Seeds are still quite a mystery to me. Even though I know they do, I just don't see how things can sprout from a hard-cased ball we call seeds. Especially since that hard-cased ball has been sitting in a paper envelope for who knows how long. It's all so incredible and amazing. God is an amazing creator! So yesterday morning when I finally woke up, David hurried over saying that he has a "good surprise" to show me. I got up as quickly as I could and he led me to witness these. Aww! Aren't they so cute and tiny? They're like little babies. One of each of the cilantro and Thai basil sprouted (although, I have no idea which one is which). This afternoon when we got home, we were surprised that one of them (not sure if it's the cilantro or the basil) grew and became this! Ahh! I'm just tickled to no end seeing this sprouting life! Oh what a happy day. :)
