It's funny actually. I don't remember if I've seen them together. Usually they are taking turns -- one brooding and the other scavenging for food. I guess this is their honeymoon time, before the eggs are laid. They were preening. They would fluff themselves up (looking super cute, I should add), then peck between the feather layers. They did that over and over again. It was really funny to watch.
I probably should've taken pictures in those sports action mode where they take 3 rapid pictures in a row so you can see what they were like. The following is a nice still shot and I like it because it seems like they are kissing. Such a tender moment. Right then and there the phrase "lovey dovey" came to mind. And I smiled.
